Finally. . .

Anna's nursery is done! I know she is 11 months old today and I just finished it this week. But to justify myself a little bit- we moved in here 4 1/2 months ago and I did almost everything myself. I love how it turned out. It looks cuter in person- as you can tell I became really crafty for this one. I couldn't find any bedding that I liked so I bought fabric and sewed the drapes, dust ruffle, and had enough left over to cover an old rocking chair Beau's parents were nice enough to give us and some canvas boards to give the walls a little more color (we aren't allowed to paint). His sister Hayley also gave us the crib and changing table which were white- so I painted them and the rocking chair black. I got a lot of flack for painting a baby girls furniture all black from Beau and my mom and dad but it looks pretty girly don't you think? I also saw a lamp like this in pottery barn so I used an old lamp and covered it with flowers. Anyway it is so nice to have it finally done. I was pretty crafty today too- I hit up two super saturdays that weren't even my own wards, thanks Candice and Khalee. I made Anna a dress and a picture book for Sundays, a plaque of Anna and a picture of the SL temple. I will have to take pics of these to show them, they are pretty cool. I think I will take a break from crafts for a while.

I needed to a picture for one of the super saturday crafts so I decided to take advantage of her room. Here are just a couple. We had fun as you can tell and she didn't even try to pull the hat off- at least for the first 5 minutes.
